Which Is The Real "Islamophobia Industry" Industry?

There is a group of governments, NGOs, university faculties and mostly Muslims and "left progressive" individuals that repeat the accusations that there is a conspiracy amongst a group of bigots, zionists, "far-right" individuals that the first group call the Islamophobia Industry. The raison d'être of the first group is to accuse the second group of Islamophobia, "hate speech," racism, prejudice,"far-rightism," zionism, colonialism and multiple transgressions of "bien pensant-ing." Which is the Goliath and which the David in this unequal contest? Those groups making the accusations of Islamophobia are more powerful, far larger, have far greater resources and finances and have easy access to the media. Surely they are the real Islamophobia Industry.

The report released by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (Cair) and University of California Berkeley's Center for Race and Gender, names 74 groups it says contribute in some way to Islamophobia in the US. Of those groups, it says, the primary purpose of 33 "is to promote prejudice against, or hatred of, Islam and Muslims". These groups had access to almost $206m of funding between 2008 and 2013.

In a reasonably thorough perusal of their websites I found no "hate speech." The sites don't hide their opposition towards Islamism and this presupposes a critical attitude to Islam and by extension Muslims who have a fundamentalist belief. Islamic terrorism is grossly under-reported in the Western media. It takes an abnormally large death-rate to make the news. Islamic terrorism is organised, has a long history and is squarely based in the teachings of the Quran, the murderous actions of Muhammad and has significant approval amongst Muslims. Al Qaeda had thousands of members, Islamic State (Daesh, ISIS, ISIL) controlled 34,000 square miles of the Middle East, had 3,700 captured slaves, governed 8 to 10 million people and had at least 30,000 soldiers of which 4,000 came from the West. It also conducted 143 terrorist attacks in 29 other countries and killed 2,043 people. Anti-Muslim terrorism is done by lone-wolf crazies like Brenton Tarrant who killed 59 people and Anders Breivik who didn't actually kill any Muslims. Yet according to the anti-Islamophobia Industry these constitute an eqivalent threat.

Count of Jews in Muslim countries The so-called Islamophobia Industry is also blamed for increases in minor violence against Muslims in the West. CAIR began documenting anti-Muslim hate-crime incidents in the USA in 1995. These numbered around 100 - 150pa and CAIR ceased recording them in 2010. Jews would consider such figures a reason to rejoice and are insignifiant compared to the suffering of Christians, Yazidis, Bahais and other religions in Muslim countries. Jews are no longer persecuted in Muslim countries because they have all left. They may all leave Europe soon if anti-Semitism continues to worsen.

Islamophilia particularly affects the "progressive" political and social elites who seem to feel that only their expressions of respect for Islam and denial that it contains any violent tendencies prevent normal citizens carrying out pogroms against Muslims.
